Yesterday, I took my daughter to the movies so we could escape the insanity that was my son's birthday sleepover party, I accidently left my phone at home and realized it when we got to the mall.
And while I like to think that I'm a fairly smart person, and granted, it was early in the morning and I hadn't had my coffee yet, I still looked at my daughter while we were getting out of the car and said "I should call your dad so he knows I don't have my phone". And then remembered that would require my phone. Which I didn't have.
These are the things that make my kids pretty sure their mom is nuts.
